Saaj is a Pakistani rapper and singer-songwriter based in Islamabad. His main genre is a unique blend of Hip Hop and Indie with a focus on lyrics that tell stories of life in all its terrible beauty. Born in Islamabad, Saaj moved to Sana'a Yemen before the age of 1 and grew up with Arabs in the tribalest of places. He spent a lot of time travelling the world and attended University in the U.S. until the Yemeni civil war forced him to start life over in Pakistan. He moved back to Pakistan in 2013 after losing everything in the Arab Springs revolution and subsequent civil war in Yemen. ...
