Just as the birds whistled and the plants vibrated, we heard melodies and called it music. Then words became bullets and words became butterflies. For me, it became a way to communicate. I made the album «Circus» after I moved away from Oslo back to my hometown. As I started writing lyrics, most of what came out was about religion. The frustration I had been feeling for a long time. The pen was my psychiatrist, and I was its patient. The album is a pure manifestation of how I saw the world, at that time. Thank you for listening
