Kite Flying Society was a band from South Florida. Established in 1999 by founding members Alex Suarez, Rick Barnocky, Cris Lankenau, James Callaghan and JB Townsend. The lineups were ever-changing throughout the years, which eventually lead to the demise of the band, with Alex and Rick remaining as the only original members the entire time. KFS recorded a demo, a 7", 2 ep's (S/T and Jochem) as well as a full album which was un-released and songs for a triple split 7" that also never came out, except on the Discography which was released at the end of the bands term.
