I am a musician and music teacher living in Brookline, MA and Cape Cod. I started playing piano at a young age, but quickly got discouraged because I struggled to read music (I liked to play by ear). I sure wish I had stuck with it (me and 1/2 the adult population of the US). Anyway, I switched to drums and percussion, eventually did learn to read music, and have continued playing for the past 45 years. My first experience with music technology happened in the 1990s.
