Oslo-based Mateo Lundstøl, aka MATEØ merges his background in visual arts and love for music to create his own world in each project he creates. MATEØ is a synthesis of his merged identities, having lived in 8 countries by the age of 23 and being raised by his Norwegian and Ecuadorian parents. Growing up in a melting pot of culture he’s learned to be inspired with no limits to his reality. His writing process often starts off inspired by real-life scenarios merged with thoughts he’s dreamt of and sprinkled with weird adlibs and backing vocals to create the ‘MATEØ’ sound.
