When Tess Roby, Adam Ohr, and Patrick Lee ( The Beat Escape ) hung out together for the first time, they had no intention of starting a band. It was late 2018, and the three Montreal musicians had gathered at the latter’s Mile End studio, with zero expectations and a mutual admiration of each other’s work.
