Peter Stone and Denise MacKay are 100 mile house. Named after a gold rush roadhouse, now town, 100 miles up the Cariboo Gold Rush road in Western Canada. The band’s folk music captures their journey as it’s still being lived. Their songs, shared over five increasingly successful albums, tell us their story. Peter Stone, from the UK, and Denise MacKay, from Canada, met, fell in love and married. The songs started to flow, producing a lyrically driven brand of transatlantic folk music, captivating audiences at festivals, clubs and concerts. But years of trying to start a family was wearing....
