In Lucas AB's work, deeply-woven synth layers, instrumentation, and vocal performance combine to create moody, driving songs that bridge between energetic dance motifs and introspective lyricism. Described by TR/ST as "beautiful and dreamy" and Shamir as "like Zola Jesus and The Postal Service had a baby", "Only Over" was AB's first fully self-recorded and produced track.
