A 2 Z

Founded by bass player Eric Michael and Archangel then drummer. A2Z started off as a new wave group playing around colleges and universities in the late 80's. They found much respect when they placed 1st runner-up in the Yamaha Band Explosion '88 upon which producer Chito Ilacad signed them a record deal under Octoarts. The self-titled album produced the singles "Magandang Umaga Pilipinas", "Melancholic Melody", "Red China", which enjoyed airplays around the country.
