This four-piece rock band from Central Ontario isn’t claiming that their music heralds a brisk stroll to the End Times. But they aren’t exactly denying it either. Perhaps it’s some foreknowledge of impending doom that enables the band to pay little heed to sticking closely to one genre. During a live show, the Speedwalkers seamlessly shift from acoustic folk to facemelting rock to shoe-gazey pop to Tarantino-esque americana songs about supernatural serial killers. Their self-titled ep, released in 2023, scratches the surface of the band’s diverse catalog. Expect more music coming soon…
