Left Tracks is a California-based collaboration between DI LEO (Phil Di Leo) and Sun Kin (Kabir Kumar). The two composer-singers and multi-instrumentalists met in Oakland in 2016 and have individually contributed to work from artists like GUPPY, Seemway, Fieldress, Madeline Kenney and Pacing. After Kabir moved down to Los Angeles in 2020, Left Tracks was conceived as a promise to continue to make music together by planning semi-annual improvisational writing sessions that blended the philosophies of jazz woodshedding, orchestral counterpoint and rock band bravado, all while living togethe...
