Teenage dreams of recognition and stardom squashed. Formed in 1995 in the Southwest of the UK around principal songwriter Rob Parsons, Hawaii built a strong regional reputation. On the verge of their debut LP ‘the second post’ being released, the band went their separate ways and the album is forever lost on CD-Rs and out of date hard drives. Reforming in 2023, Hawaii have built a new set of songs around the shared songwriting and vocal duties of Rob, Andrew Parsons and Steve Barker.
