Sobre Hila Karni
Hila Karni was born in Tel Aviv. Her teachers include David Geringas and Bernard Greenhouse, who has described her as “one of the most musically sensitive and technically exciting cellists of the younger generation.” She studied chamber music with Haim Taub and Alban Berg quartet. As co-founder of Trio Mondrian she won 1st Prize, the “Young Award” and best interpretation of a Brahms trio at the International Chamber Music Competition in Trieste in 2007.
