Sobre McKenzie Lockhart
McKenzie Lockhart is a singer-songwriter from Florence, AL. Growing up just across the river in Muscle Shoals, she has been surrounded with music history since childhood and could not escape the need to sing and create. In 2016, Lockhart released her debut EP, Interlaced, and introduced herself as a songwriter with heart and a desire to write about lived experience - even seemingly mundane experiences (“Ball & Chain”). Each song is a story to be shared. As a follow-up to Interlaced, Lockhart leaned into her live acoustic performance roots and recorded a live EP with her husband in her home....
