Sobre Mothers
Led by singer/songwriter Kristine Leschper, Mothers embrace an intimate, atmospheric style of indie rock with experimental tendencies. Leschper began performing her songs alone as a college student in 2013 before expanding the project to a full band. They released their first album, When You Walk a Long Distance You Are Tired, in 2016. Leschper grew up in Union City, Georgia and moved a couple hours away to Athens following high school to study printmaking at UGA's Lamar Dodd School of Art. While there, she started Mothers as a solo project, performing publicly for the first time in 2013....
