In 1996, Che & Iyak in the city of Bandung, West Java, initially founded the band "Cupumanik". Then Eski, Dony and Rama joined to strengthen this band until now. This band released its first album in 2005, under the major label recording company: Pops Music/ Aquarius Musikindo". In the first edition of Rolling Stone Indonesia magazine, published in May 2005, Cupumanik song "Maha Rencana", occupied 2nd position, in the Indonesian Top Ten Chart rubric.
