Sobre The Warmers
The Warmers, a jagged and minimalist post-hardcore band from Washington, D.C., lasted over three years but only released one full-length album before splitting. The band – guitarist/vocalist Alec MacKaye, bassist/vocalist Juan Luis Carrera, drummer Amy Farina – already had established themselves as valued members of D.C.'s close-knit music scene prior to forming in 1994. MacKaye was in Faith, Ignition, and Untouchables, and helped build D.C.'s hardcore punk scene in the early ‘80s with his brother Ian MacKaye. Farina had helped Lois Maffeo in Lois.
