An adept jazz, pop, and big-band drummer, Dave Tull established himself as an in-demand session and touring musician before launching his own recording career, singing and playing his own literate, often humorous songs. As a drummer, he emerged in the 1980s and has since worked with a handful of marquee performers including Barbra Streisand, Maynard Ferguson, and Michael Bublé. As a leader, he balances his time between drumming and singing with his trio, a sound he showcased on his debut album, 2008's I Just Want to Get Paid!
