Michaux (pronounced Mee-sho) is a Blues & Soul band from Delray Beach. The band, formed by Corey Jones, began writing songs together in the winter of 2013. Drawing from Hip-Hop, Motown, and R&B influences, they crafted gritty original music—driven by Jones on drums, Chris Michaud and Robert Humphreys on guitar and vocals, Eric Perna on bass, and Max Augliere on keys. After Corey’s death in 2015, bassist Eric Perna began to sift through the demo recordings the band would make during their rehearsals in the living room of his home.
