A product of the same progressive house scene that also gave rise to deadmau5, Estonian electro-noise savant Mord Fustang was born Rauno Roosnurm in 1991 in Tallinn. A classically trained pianist inspired early on by classical works, as well as prog rockers Steve Vai and Joe Satriani, he was a member of garage bands, playing self-taught guitar; began working on a solo career in his teens, experimented with Propellerhead's Reason—the discovery of his own personal sound came soon after.
