Michiko is a Sydney-born, New Zealand-based singer, songwriter and producer whose style is described as a fusion of electronica, dance and downtempo with smooth and soulful vocals. Michiko’s debut album Daydreamer was recorded in a humble basement bedroom in West London and released independently in 2006. Not expecting much of a reaction to the release, Michiko’s single “Stuck On You” gained the attention of many listeners, as well as that of Lemongrassmusic, under whose label Michiko’s follow up album “No Place Like Home” was released in 2010.
