Tangent is a 5 piece pop/rock band from Nelson, New Zealand. It consists of Georgie Levien (guitar and vocals), Shayla King (guitar and backing vocals), Emily Preston-Thomas (bass and backing vocals), Roarna Knowler (keys), and Kasey Brydon (drums). The band has been together since early 2021 and have been playing gigs around the Nelson region, as well as competing in Rockquest over the last few years.
