Sobre Distemper
Distemper, a Russian ska-punk band from Moscow, was formed on September 4, 1989 by Roman “Nosatyy” Shevchuk, Sergey “Bai” Baybakov, and Pavel “Kisel” Kalinin. Initially blending thrash metal and punk, Distemper released their debut album Мы сегодня с Баем two years later, which had limited success. In 1992, Dazent joined as lead vocalist and primary lyricist, expanding the band's reach beyond Moscow. By 1995, Distemper transitioned to ska-punk, adding saxophonist Iljitsch.
