Also known as P-dub and Pretty Willie, Willie Moore, Jr. is a Christian R&B artist, minister, actor, and nationally syndicated DJ. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, he attended the University of Mississippi and earned a degree in Psychology. Still, when good friend Nelly landed a recording contract, Moore was onboard, and got his own deal with Universal as rapper Pretty Willie. His debut single, 2001's "Roll wit Me," was a semi-sequel to Nelly's popular hit from a year earlier, "Ride wit Me," but as Moore moved toward a Christian lifestyle, his label and his conscience were at odds.
