My musical journey began at an early age when I started playing the violin in elementary school. When the orchestra director gave a demo of the instrument, I was amazed at the richness and complexity of the sounds the violin can make, and I ultimately played the violin in orchestras through high school. It wasn't until college during the summer of 1997 in Italy, when I heard Daft Punk's "Around the World" at a dance club, that I became interested in electronic music.
