Born and raised in Baragoi in Kenya's Samburu county, Dufla (aka Dufla Diligon, The Jumping Antelope) was singing as he roamed the plains herding his father's cows and keeping them safe from the abundant wildlife in the area. He first started performing to his community in Kaichukan Village, and got his break when Mzazi Willy M Tuva discovered his talent during the Mseto Mashinani Tour at Marmanet in 2012.
