For Ras Teo, born Teo Hartoonian, in 1979 in Uppsala Sweden, the most reflectively transformative moment of his life occurred one day while living in Gottsunda when Teo was 12 years old, a simple gift from friend Affe Ashkar of a mixed cassette tape exposed Teo to reggae music.
