Rich (the southern boy) and Marianne (the northern girl living in a southern world) met through a mutual friend and started writing together mid 2013. Their love for creating songs led them on a songwriting retreat in September 2013 (hence the band name) and together on a sun-soaked balcony in the beautiful olive hills of Andalucia, Spain, they penned their track 'I thought you knew'.
