Yann Ryo, aka Nixtamal is a French producer born in St Nazaire. The sound of Nixtamal weaves a connection between Tropical music, Dub and Electro. After traveling through Mexico and South America, he caught the cumbia virus and started the Nixtamal project in 2008. He releases his first EP on the Argentine label CABEZA! in 2010. After working on numerous original productions, he began his musical career with the Barcelona label Folcore Records.
