In the 1990’s to the early 2000’s He grew up listening to dancehall, mostly Red Rat and Beenie Man. After Y2K He moved to Lauderhill, FL (a multicultural city with a vibrant community of Jamaicans, Haitians and African Americans). Now submerged in this American subculture, Komodo became influenced heavily by hip hop and Rap.
