Sobre Veronica Nunes
Veronica Nunes is a singer and cavaquinist from Rio de Janeiro. Born in a musical family, Veronica is the daughter of a classical pianist, who inspired her to follow a musical career from an early age. She started at fifteen years old as background vocalist for the reggae band Monte Zion. Veronica studied music at Escola Portátil in her hometown of Rio de Janeiro, where she had the opportunity of learning music from some of Brazil’s most respected Choro and Samba musicians.
