L’vovo Derrango whose real name is Thokozani Ndlovu, was born in Newcastle, KZN. His passion for the entertainment industry started during his days as a Language Practice student at the Durban University of Technology. He would MC in various events in and around Durban and through that, he met different personalities in the industry. In 2006, he was given an opportunity by Zakhele “Zakes Bantwini” Madida who signed him under Mayonie Productions and that is how his first single Bayang’sukela came about.
