PNW Metal Massacre At The Opera formed in Puyallup, Washington in 2011 when Chase Webb (Guitar) and Tyler Higley (Drums) were still in high school. In 2012, Chris Gumeson (Vocals) joined, and after a member change a few years later, John Stahlman (Bass) stepped in. They draw influences from Thrash, New Wave Of American Metal, Groove Metal, Metalcore, Punk, Prog, and more. MATO are known for their intense live shows, and bring an all or nothing attitude with them when on stage.
