Back in 2014 Danny Wyer (Guitar, Banjo & Vocals) met Kate Marsden (Guitar, Ukulele & Vocals) at a local open mic night in Derbyshire. The two soon started to perform together at various venues across the Midlands, and quickly discovered that they could achieve something very special as duo. Together Danny and Kate wowed audiences with their powerful vocals and spell binding harmonies. After Danny won the singer songwriter competition at Stainsby Folk Festival in 2016, the pair decided to start a band and The Rogue Embers were born.
