The mere sound of her name suggests the love of nature and the promise of a labelless musical journey. Born in the United States, and of Indo-Pakistani, Congolese, Belgian and Slovak origins, she grows up in a multicultural family and develops a nomadic and music-loving sensibility throughout her childhood. As a child, she explores various instruments including the violin, piano and the cello, to finally find out singing suits her best.
