Velourias are an alternative rock band from Dublin, Ireland. Phil, Rob and Nick formed the band in 2006, united by a shared love of bands like The Manic Street Preachers and At The Drive-in. Their self-titled debut album, released in 2012, was described as "One of the best Irish rock albums all year" and "A full-on, alt. rock tour de force with killer choruses" by Edwin McFee of Hotpress. After a 5 year hiatus, Velourias returned in 2022 and immediately started work on completing their 2nd album. We Float Down Rivers is the first single from that album, and was released in February 2023. ...
