Leo Perna has for years been on top of the scene in the rough eastern districts of Naples. First introduced to electronic music at age 12 when his father brought him an AKAI MPC200XL that was taken as compensation for a fallen debt, Leo Perna quickly learned the tools of the trade. His signature sound is the collage of interwoven 14-bit samples sourced from dusty vinyl records combined with the analogue warmth from analogue synthesizers. When listening to his music, you can easily imagine yourself hearing it through the speakers of a local Naples coffee shop.
