Casey Murray is a Singer-Songwriter born in the Bay of Islands, Northland New Zealand. She was raised on a Dairy Farm near Kerikeri and began singing at the age of 10. She suffered a tragic burn to her left leg which meant years of skin grafts and painful surgery . Her mother encouraged her to sing at the local country music clubs to raise her self-esteem, which led to her gaining confidence and eventually she won several country music awards and was selected at an early age to tour with some of the big names in New Zealand.
