Roundstone began life as Babygrand in a halls of residence in London in the 2000s, when Dominic Scott, studying economics, met Drew Morgan, studying composition at the RAM, and Al Watson, studying piano performance in the RCM. They were introduced through a friend to drummer and painter Ben Salmon who they invited to complete the line-up, forming the band Roundstone. Further creative input came from many supportive friends including William Keating.
