Robbie’s earliest memory was that he wanted to be a songwriter, like his father, uncle and grandfather before him. Robert J. Sherman was born in Los Angeles, California in 1968. The fourth child of Joyce and Robert B. Sherman, Robbie stems from a long, illustrious line of songwriters and composers. At 16 he became one of the youngest songwriters ever to join BMI (Broadcast Music, Incorporated). He is also an alumnus of the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop. At 18 Robbie wrote songs for the musical A Christmas Held Captive (Beverly Hills Playhouse) and has subsequently written song...
