Sobre Beq
Founded by guitarist Andreas Bokros in late 2021, the project was created to explore new compositional ideas and the possibilities of a quartet setting. The music is inspired by classic fusion bands from the 70s and 80s but strives for a contemporary sound by incorporating concepts from some of Andreas' favorite composers, such as J.S. Bach, O. Messiaen, and modern guitarist Mike Moreno. By playing only a few shows a year and letting things cook slowly, BEQ will release their debut album on January 11, 2025.
