I, Jorgen Hoglund, first met my Mexican friends when I was touring with "Little Gerhard & His Rocking G-men" in Mexico . Later in Sweden I was introduced to Renato Lopez (guitar, vocals) who had moved to Sweden. We decided to start up the band "Tequila". We were joined by my British friend Sam Marsden (keyboards) and bass player Tommy Petersson. We "imported" Chatcho Rafael Sida from Mexico (drums) and his brother Chuey (trumpet) and also Pepe Ballote (Sax) and all of a sudden we had a great band.
