Boasting a line-up which includes members of Moses, Solo Ono, Sweaty Betty, Kittentank and Echo Beach, Wellington’s Tidal Rave draw influence from a variety of styles of garage rock, including a healthy dose of the surf rock alluded to in the group’s name. Their debut EP was recorded (2017) in the long-serving live-venue-turned-recording-studio Chicks Hotel in Dunedin by in-house engineer Tom Bell.
