The band was formed from drummer Jack’s idea in late 2022. After meeting guitarist Luke, they began writing songs that would eventually shape Tide7 the following year. The lineup was completed when Aaron joined as the bassist and Mark as the vocalist. The members draw from a wide range of influences, spanning metalcore, deathcore, and hardcore to djent and mathcore. This diversity fuels their unique, aggressive sound — blending powerful, groovy riffs, crushing breakdowns, chaotic dissonance, and intense lyrics.
