Although the piano and I knew each other at an early age, my lessons were a disaster as the notes on the page and the keys on the instrument did not seem to match up for me. There were many lessons that ended with the teacher indicating that I needed more practice. When she played the songs like they should be played I fell in love with the music of Beethoven.
