I formed Kinyon out of necessity more than anything else. I have led bands in the past and I was always the main creative force, but prior to Kinyon, I wasn't making music with near enough intent on being true to myself like I am now. I used to write music with the mindset of "What do people want to hear?" Or "What will my band mates like?". As my last band was on its way out, I naturally found myself making music for no one else but me and it turned out to be so much more meaningful and satisfying that way.
