The Residents Brothers are the Christchurch based Sector of the Artist Residents Creative Arts Studio. The Artist Residents formed in 2015 under the collaborative art movement titled RES which focuses on interactive transmedia experiences navigating through virtual and physical medium. Jack and Max (Brown) separated from the Collective in late 2018 to pursue Music and Fashion in their hometown of Christchurch, New Zealand as each individual member of the RES builds their following.
