jean. is an independent artist from Lancaster, California, who currently resides and performs in Denver, Colorado. She has been writing music since she was very young. In February of 2020, Sadie Kate Gibson, one of her church friends who would become her producer, heard the demo for one of her songs and decided to make it happen. And so, at the age of 12, jean. released Wack These Days on YouTube, initially as a single, and under the name “EJ Collié”. The song received much backlash.
