Josh Britto first picked up a guitar at the age of 10 and has never put it down since. He was inspired by his dad, who Britto credits as his first and most important musical influence. Over the years to follow, Britto’s obsession with the guitar intensified exponentially. At the age of 18, Britto discovered open tuning, which opened a door to a whole new world of guitar playing, and he’s rarely played in standard tuning since.
