Archaius (pronounced Are-Kay-Us) is the musical project of composer Ryan Whittlinger focusing on the "Epic Music" genre. Emerging from the late nineties Chicago Industrial scene, Ryan worked with several bands as a live drummer as well as a producer and sound engineer. In 2000 he founded the company Kult of Athena selling swords and other Medieval weapons. After a few years, KOA had grown beyond a side business and Ryan retired from music to focus on his new sword borne empire. In 2021 Ryan stepped away from that business to focus on other interests, music being one of them. Now returning...
